Amazon is giving away $5 store credit to app shoppers this holiday season. And all you have to do is download an app from their Appstore.

To get the $5 store credit, all you have to do is go to the Amazon Appstore app on your Kindle Fire or any other compatible Android device and download any app, including a free one. You’ll soon get an email informing you that $5 credit has been added to your account, which can then be used to purchase more apps or games from the Amazon Appstore.

The credit is only available if you download the app or game from the latest version of the Appstore app. You only get the $5 credit once for every account and it expires after March 31, 2014 if not used. The offer itself ends on December 28, 2013, so you better hurry if you wish to avail it.

Today Amazon Officially Announced three new tablets to its Kindle Series.The Kindle Fire HD is the most interesting among them from a geek point of view.The Kindle Fire HD is now with a very attractive price which is just $139 Us Dollar $60 less than the last years Kindle Fire HD.


So whats new in this model? it got a new design,it is thinner and lighter than ever.It runs on Amazons latest UI the Fire OS 3.0 aka Mojito Installed over the Android. It comes with news apps and features. If you are wondering than it comes with Amazons own apps store but apps made for Android work alright on this new slate.

It now also has a faster processor which 1.5 GHZ Dual Core OMAP processor which faster than the last years 1.0 GHZ Dual Core OMAP Processor. Amazon just debuted two new Android Tablets the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 and Kidle Fire HDX 8.9.
Both Tablets have new designs they are very fast,very light and very thin. They are just 303 and 374 grams. Both Tablets are hardware beasts they have 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800, 2GB of RAM and up to 11 hours of battery life (17 hours in Reading Mode).the 7-inch version has a resolution of 1920x1200, or 323 ppi, while the its bigger brother has crossed into iPad territory with a 2560x1600 resolution, or 339 ppi.

Amazons new Fire OS 3.0 is very good. theres now grid view for all the content on your tablet and there are many apps like much needed Gmail and calendar etc are improved.we will tell you more when they will come in our hands.

Talking about the price $229/$269/$309 for the 16GB/32GB/64GB version while for those who are looking for connectivity on the go have to pay more $329/$369/$409 for the 16GB/32GB/64GB 4G LTE version.Their shipping wont start until October 18 in the case of the 7-inch HDX, and November 7, in the case of the 8.9 HDX.
